Solace is hard to come by
in these dark times,
pain stays with me like a shadow
in the back of my mind
So in this haze of betrayal
and misplaced trust,
I'll leave your promises to rot
and the memories to rust

I was a child
stumbling foward on
unsteady legs.

One mistake lasts forever,

No amount of
childhood slumber
could warn me
of the monster
that hid in my future!

BUT ANYWAY

Trophies of your deceit/hope those eyes watch you
= reference to the pictures I drew for him that he hung on his dorm wall.

I was a child stumbling foward on unsteady legs
= I went into this like a child... thinking everything would go right.

Monster
= well doh.

promises... memories. Yeah.

BUT IT'S ALL OKAY NOW. He's a butt. :]

Hehe, thanks. When I'm uber depressed this just kind of comes out. Which is probably why I haven't written anything lately, I kind of lost my emotions ._.
